Own production reliability and operational discipline for Velrin. You’ll improve monitoring, deployments, incident response, and secure-by-design practices for an execution platform built for visibility, control, and trust.
About Velrin
Velrin is a secure-by-design execution platform. Work is structured through workspaces, projects, tasks, Kanban workflows, progress history, reporting, and Velrin AI support.
Responsibilities
• Own production uptime: monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility
• Improve deployment process (repeatability, rollbacks, change discipline)
• Harden configurations and access practices (least privilege and safe defaults)
• Build operational runbooks for incidents and reliability issues
• Maintain backup discipline and basic recovery readiness
• Partner with engineering to reduce operational risk and improve performance
Requirements
• Experience operating production web applications (Linux + web stack)
• Strong incident response mindset and calm execution under pressure
• Ability to create systems: runbooks, checklists, and operational standards
Nice to have
• Django and PostgreSQL familiarity
• Observability tools experience (logging, tracing, alerting)
• Experience with access reviews and security hygiene processes
What success looks like (60–90 days)
• Clear monitoring coverage and faster detection of issues
• Repeatable deploy workflow with lower downtime risk
• Improved operational discipline and stronger access hygiene
